May’s full Flower Moon reaches peak illumination at 6:14 AM CEST on Monday, May 16.
This month’s full moon coincides with a total lunar eclipse - 6:11AM CEST. A lunar eclipse occurs when Earth stands directly between the moon and the Sun, which results in Earth casting its shadow on the moon. During a total lunar eclipse, the moon is fully obscured by earth’s shadow, giving the moon a reddish hue.
This phenomenon is where the term “blood moon” comes from.
Full Moons can be the most powerful astrological events. But unlike Mercury retrogrades, they're not prone to causing chaos; instead, full moons are known to be dynamic times filled with manifestation, culmination and self-realization. They invite us to take a minute and reflect on what’s working (or not) in our lives - whether that’s in relation to work, relationships or health - and proceed with change if necessary.
The full moon energy corresponds to the end of inhalation when the force of prana is greatest. Take a deep breath in, hold it, and feel the prana (energy) in your body. This is an expansive, upward moving force that makes us feel energetic and emotional, but not well grounded. During the full moon we tend to be more headstrong.

To harvest the peak energy of this Full Moon in Scorpio that will bring a huge sudden shift and potentially also will release our emotional baggage, we will focus on Mantra chanting to center ourselves, so that we can feel at peace and have clarity, followed by meditating in a hammock (floating). Meditation in a silk hammock can heighten your sense of relaxation and ability to surrender while being cradled by comfortable feeling of this silk fabric that wraps you in a loving embrace just like when we were inside our mother's womb where we used to feel the utmost peace, love and growth.
